Old Quasispace music

I find this alpha version to be remarkably stable.  Excellent job to all of you who helped out.  I was wondering what happened to the old music in quasispace, I rather dislike the new song.

Read the manual.  The command line switches to use the PC mods for music are: -m or --pcmusic

For those, who love original (PC) version of quasispace music, you can convert it from MOD to OGG format. But you'll have to increase the volume of it.
I've did it, and now I have 3do music with an old 'Mystic Shadows' in quasispace... And I've remember my first time in quasispace, when I've just seat and hear it again and again...

With the second remix pack by the Precursors, there's an "extras" zip file, containing a remix of this song which is very true to the original.

Alternatively, if you really don't want the 3DO version of a tune, just remove it from the 3DO music package. Grin

meep-eep, I've listen remix. It's VERY good, but I like the old one. It's classic not just for me, but for MANY people.
Novus, if I remove quasispace.ogg, I have NO MUSIC at all in quasispace. So the only way for me is just recode old MOD to OGG...

Did you listen to both remixes? I am specifically referring to the one in the extras pack. Although I agree that the original has a unique charm.

Oh. Sorry. Have listened the other one. It's VERY close to original and MUCH better. Very good. Thank you.
Strange thing... This remix reminds me main theme of UFO: Alien Invasion by Manuel Marino... same endless sadness...  Smiley

Sorry, I forgot you're using the SVN version, not the 0.6.2 release. Removing the first line of 3domusic.rmp (in content/addons/3domusic/3domusic.rmp or the 3DO music package) does the trick.
