Does anyone have a save game for the 0.2v of Ur-Quan Masters right before the grande finale?

I have one. One against the guardians and one against the sa-matra. One has 4 Yehats 4 pkunks 2 chmmr avatar Spathi and utwig jugger. (Fwiffo and I won many battles together... I am not going to sell him!!!) And the other has 5 pkunks 5 yehats spathi and utwig jugger. Choose

What? No Thradash?
Usually I make sure I have one pkunk and one thradash for the final battle if I want to take it easy on myself. The pkunk flys around killing the shields, moving too fast to be caught, then escapes out, the thradash's flame tail effectivly eleminates the defenses after that, escape, then fly in and win.

My favourite savegame fleet is:
  • 1 Druuge (I traded the Mycon shell for it, calm down :P)
  • 1 Utwig
  • 2 Chmmr
The Utwig is brought along to take out the Sa-Matra guardian fleet, the Chmmr are brought along as backup in case I get butterfingered while doing so, (and to mop up the Sa-Matra's defenses after the shields are knocked out) and the Druuge is there purely for fun.  Fighting the Sa-Matra with a Mauler is always a blast; with enough practice, I'm sure I'll be able to kill all the shield generators with it alone (personal best: 4 generators :) )

Haha, yes!  Another Mauler fan!

I've destroyed five generators before my Mauler had little more than a captain left in its deck.  I survived for a long time drifting, but unfortunately you can't survive forever. ^_^  I have to say, the Mauler is tons of fun to fly.  I just love change directions so quickly.  It's pretty tricky against the Sa-Matra, and I've yet to get all the generators... lol.  I doubt anyone could.

Is there a save game editor where you can set whatever fleet you want? I'd be way cool to see what some impossible fleets could do to the Sa-matra. How would a Korh-Ah fare? Melnorme? Illwraith? Umgah?

Has anyone ever flown in with a fleet of shofixti and destructed themselves on the shield generators? You can often times kill 2 at a time that way.

Pkunk are good for the sa-matra if u want the easy way out.
i've always liked zoq-fot-pik for the final battle.

For the Sa-Matra fleet i have my flyingHQ, Hellbore in second slot, ATS in third. Keeping a little distance, pointing in (rough) 'Quan direction and blast away. The ATS will do the trick.

I never  had the idea to use Pkunks (never were good with them anyway, compared to the skills i developed with my beloved spitfires (designed by the monopolist on Earth - the Blade fighters).

Alas, against the Sa-Matra these Hot-Dog eating captains are just a tiny bit too slow. My best were three generators with the first Blade. I just took the ship which seemed made for this (regarding the game storyline) - the Avatar.

Might be, heard and read so, never tried it anyway. Need to do so. But not now or in near future. Maybe when i can show my kids how computer games are played, i'll use one of the best of all times to let them try. Heck, i'm sure i'll join them. Maybe we can try to fight the Big-Trophy together.
