Title: Regarding Ship Upgrades Post by: thechortler on August 08, 2003, 12:11:35 pm I'm sure those who played SC1 remember how individual ships could be upgraded with individual packs--for example, in my experience if you stick a thruster artifact and a dynamo artifact on a Cruiser you get a darn good ship (maybe I'm just hung up on the humans). Can you buy/find/steal the equipment to do this in SC2, or is this capacity reserved for the flagship and its swapout modules? Sorry if this is a n00b question, but my search didn't find anything regarding this topic.

Then again, there was times when you're Chmmr would get a crew pod and it'd be a total waste. I always wished I could get the Chmmr to pass the upgrade to, say, yehat or whatever else. Yeah. Nothing like that in SC2, tho. Title: Re: Regarding Ship Upgrades Post by: Chrispy on August 09, 2003, 03:58:38 am if ur talking about sc1, how can a chmmr be their. I didnt think chmmrs were in sc1. i know their were upgrades in sc3, is that what u mean

<blatant commercial> GOB is a subgame of Timewarp in which you gain starbucks by blowing up the enemy, and can use those starbucks to upgrade your ship a la SC1, except with much more control. Find the Rainbow Rift and win a prize! </blatant commerial> |
