Title: Have to stop the Pkunk from entering Yehat space

I've heard on this board that if it happens, the Pkunk will be annihilated.  What can I do to prevent this?  It's December 2155 in my game, so am I out of time already?  I guess it doesn't really matter, I just kind of like the Pkunk.

Okay, I'll head over to the Yehat (haven't met them yet) now and see what I can do.  Perhaps it was a mistake to visit the Pkunk before the Zot-Foq-Pilk...

I've found that once Hayes tells you there's a huge fleet of ships on the move (this usually won't happen until much later in the game) you'll notice the Pkunk circle moving on your starmap.

They don't move very quickly, so simply flying to their space, wherever it is at the time, and intercepting one of them seems to work.   Just tell them to go home... they always seem to listen.

The Yehat are more important than they look.  That's all I'll say about them.  :)

I've never had a problem starting the revolt after the Pkunk have been ... "absorbed." Same net effect either way for me.

you can send them back twice. if you already have, send them a shofixty and the pkunk will be saved until u win the game. and then eat well

Hamburgers, made of beef (cow) don't have cow fur in them... skinning is an important step.
I'd be more worried about a sudden prevalence of the sound "Kaiyeee!" and a common accompanying profusion of little white dots in your general vicinity...

I thought it didn't matter (at least for the PC ver.) the order of Revolt & Migration?

And you could only push the Pkunk back so long. IIRC, I told them to turn back just before they reached the Yehat, and I could never turn them back after that. Probably because of all the time they took moving back and forth.

Ah, silly Pkunk.. free 7 crew per fight...

Well that was years ago... But I startet the Yehat fight and still the Pkunk get completely destroyed.

To make the most of the 2 times you can send the Pkunk back, wait until they are almost to the Yehat before getting them to return.  Also you can get Pkunk Furies from their homeworld at least twice.
