Title: Little help here? Post by: bigfoot256 on September 03, 2003, 05:29:15 am Ehm, I recently installed Striker's CVS 0.24 and I can't seem to get it to work. I installed it over the most recent official build (0.2 I think). It says the application can't run because it can't find "zlib-1.dll". Any assistance would be appreciated greatly.

I can't find a straight answer in the thread, either. Now I think it wants a new "starcon.key", and I can't understand what he (GoNzOTW) did to get it work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Title: Re: Little help here? Post by: Sage on September 04, 2003, 12:07:39 pm Starcon.key is (for all intents and purposes) exactly identical to the keys.cfg file. The only difference is that the keys.cfg is the copy that you should be editing; starcon.key is the original and is best left alone, except in this case of course. So, just replace the contents of starcon.key with that text I posted up.
Were you at least able to get/make a working zlib-1.dll? EDIT: Wierd...for some reason I'm seeing part of my avatar in yours. Maybe my browser is messing up...? Post by: bigfoot256 on September 06, 2003, 11:18:24 am I do have a working zlib-1.dll now, and I've replaced the starcon.key file, deleted keys.cfg, but I'm still getting the same problem as mentioned by GoNzOTW in that thread. He mentioned something about installing it correctly, but I'm still not sure what to do. Thank you very much for all the help you have already given me, though.
BTW, yes I do see part of your avatar in mine. That is strange... |
