Does anyone know what changes are already done? I'd like to know. And for that matter, how did the 3do version differ from the PC version? i only played it on PC.

oh, and will SC1 be included at all?

Main differences from PC to 3DO are:

Smooth zooming melee camera
Much improved planet landing
Voice added for all communications, text removed
Intro and outro videos added, along with videos w/ audio description for each melee ship
Higher quality, remixed, and sometimes completely replaced music (QuasiSpace)

Note that the 3DO-back-to-PC port has re-added the text for communications.
