cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/sc2 login Gives a response: cvs [login aborted]: unrecognized auth response from cvs.sourceforge.net: M PserverBackend::PserverBackend() Connect (Connection refused) Anonymous CVS access works on all of the other SF projects that I tried at the time. Just retry, what you are doing should work. Or use the snapshots from http://uqm.stack.nl/files/snapshots/ (only source, not content).
