Title: getting starcon to work... Post by: andrew on December 13, 2003, 02:44:41 am ok so i have the cd version of star control 2 and i want to run it on windows 98, i think i have to get dosbox but i don't know what command lines i need. can someone help me?

Our official solution for you is to get UQM 0.3's Win32 installer and just use that. :) (But the info you want is listed under "Games->S->Star Control 2" on the DosBox site -- and to use DosBox itself, read its own documentation.) Post by: andrew on December 13, 2003, 12:02:33 pm i realised that, my apologies. i'm playing the re-released version but it seems to be lacking something, like a certain nostalgia. the sounds and everything are great, but i like the old one better.
