Title: New zoom in SuperMelee.

I don't like the new zooming as much as the original one. It just made the melee fights more fun (surprise hit by asteroid or planet for example). The new zoom also makes more annyoing stalemate situations in human vs. human combats, because there's even less point to try to chase the other guy...

Is it possible to turn this feature off? I haven't figured out how.

i like the zooming a lot. The smoother the better

I'm almost completely positive the game's manual came with a command-line switch to use PC style zoom.  Check the docs.
