Title: Old PC music?
Post by: Justin Thrall on February 09, 2004, 04:45:48 am
Great work on UQM.  I have a question though.  I really don't like some of the 3DO music (specifically, hyperspace and quasispace music).  Is there a way to keep some of the old dos music from way back in the day?  Thanks.

hhmmm... Well I don't know about getting old music, but you can download new remixes at the download section of this site. That might suit your tastes better.

In case u don't know 3DO music is an optional feature,  meaning the 3DO music is set as default if u don't have a specific sound it will fall back to the PC one.
basicly if u wipe hyper.ogg it will run hyper.mod
ogg=3DO mod=PC

manual.txt lists all command line options.  You will find that the option --music=pc will do what you want.

Actually I altered the content file and have "Achille's Last Stand" by Led Zeppelin Playing Instead of the Regular hyperspace theme.

Quite simple actually remane the file to matchand replace it in the zip hardest part would be to find an ogg converter.

I think that you need to put in the FAQ some links that you must press them if you want to post, just after every topic of the FAQ. That way you will know that they read the FAQ before posting ;D
