Title: Shofixti Time to Live Post by: Captain Smith on April 08, 2004, 04:15:40 pm Is there a definite defined amount of game time that passes between the time that you give the maidens to Tanaka and the time you can build their ships at the starbase? What is that time?

Title: Re: Shofixti Time to Live Post by: Captain Smith on April 09, 2004, 01:14:13 am Another event-related question. How is the event of having to go save the Zoq-Fot-Pik tied into anything, game time wise? I assume it's tied into making an alliance with them, because I never see the Zoq-Fot sphere disappear after I meet the ship at Rigel (or is it tied into Rigel and I just don't know?). Is there ever a situation where you just randomly show up to their homeworld without going to the base and have to save them?
Title: Re: Shofixti Time to Live Post by: Vassago_Umara on April 09, 2004, 06:59:22 am I think it only happens when and if you make an alliance with them. I don't think they will get killed if you never go to their homeworld. Until the Kohr-Ah start killing everyone.
Title: Re: Shofixti Time to Live Post by: FalconMWC on April 09, 2004, 07:15:54 pm Well what Commander Hayes says is:
We are receiving a priority distress call from the Zoq-Fot Homeworld at Alpha Tucanae. The signal was urgent but extremely weak. The only portions of the transmission we can be sure of are: `HELP!' `BLACK DESTROYER!' `PLANET UNDER ATTACK!' `HELP!' `WORSE THAN ZEBRANKY!' (whatever that means) and finally `HELP!' So it seems as though the ZFP (Zot-Fot-Pik) have meant you before otherwise they would not have said worse than the zebranky. However I know that the time does not depend on once you reach your starbase. Once I did a MASSIVE mining trip and was gone a about a year and a half. About three quarters of the way through I saw the ZFP "circle" disappear. |
