Title: Want a new Star Control? Quick go here! Post by: Orz Brain on April 23, 2004, 09:28:42 pm Stardock, makers of the insanely great game Galactic Civilizations (I have it and its like Master of Orion and/or Civilization), has a poll up about which game should be remade, Master of Magic or Star Control.
Now, you probably have to register for a free account to vote, but here is why I think you should do that... I've read a couple of times that the owner of Stardock is interested in making games or types of games that no one makes anymore. Now, I'm not saying they would be able to make a direct sequel for Star Control, but maybe a game that has the same type of gameplay like Star Control or Star Control 2. I'm a huge fan of Stardock and Galactic Civilizations. Anyone else that has experience with Stardock should chime in with some comments... Needless to say, I think every Star Control fan should go over to the Gal Civ website and vote for "Star Control" in this poll! (its on the left side of the main page, called the "Cyber Poll") http://www.galciv.com/ We are falling slightly behind in the poll. Get your buts over there and vote! It's a lot more likely that they would create an enjoyable game that way. Also, the poll talks about "remaking". Remaking SC2 isn't very useful, we're already doing that.
