Title: Mycon/Syreen/Deep Children Arc Post by: Thkaal on April 27, 2004, 10:29:15 am Alright, I have played this game so many times, I can do it in my sleep.
My only question is, why after I tell the Mycon about Organon, they don't go? Is this part of a bug in the game (has already found one involving the Melnorme). ?? If you meant 'NOT reading the FAQ, okay. If you were being snarky... From the General Issues FAQ: Quote 1) I went to the Mycon homeworld and told them about Organon and they didn't lift a finger. What's up? Is this a bug? This is sort of described in the Mycon-Syreen subplot doesn't work in the differences link, but here's a basic summary of what the PC version told you that the 3DO version didn't (and is important to know). The Syreen don't tell you that Syra was Beta Copernicus I. The Mycon don't tell you the source of Juffo-Wup is Epsilon Scorpii I. The Utwig don't tell you that the Supox are found in the Librae constellation. The Ilwrath will tell you about their homeworld if you press their ships in space long enough about it. From the technical issues FAQ: Quote Issue: I tried to tell the Mycon about this great planet, and they told me to go away! I can't advance the plot! What's Up: The Mycon have not one but two inhabited planets. One is a place full of Juffo-Wup; the other is their homeworld. The 3d0 version cut several important pieces of dialogue, which would disambiguate. Find the homeworld to get it all sorted out. Fortunately, their homeworld right in the middle of their sphere of influence. |
