Title: another problem running uqm Post by: pacijent on May 05, 2004, 03:26:20 am I've installed 0.3 version (winXP) and when I tried to play the game I got a message:
"The control scheme for UQM has changed since you last updated keys.cfg ( I'm using control scheme version 1, while your config file apears to be for version 0.) Renaming keys.cfg to keys.old and retrying. Error: Something went wrong and we are looping agin and again so aborting. Possible cause is your content dir not being up-to-date." This speaks for it self ..... but .... there was no keys.cfg in Aplication data/uqm directory. I've red some posts on ths forum so I renamed starcon.txt and starcon.key to keys.cfg and none of it worked Title: Re: another problem running uqm Post by: meep-eep on May 05, 2004, 05:23:27 am How did you install it? Online using the installer? Note that you're not supposed to unpack the .zip files.

I thougt 0.3 setup was just an update so I installed it to a same directory as the 0.1 version ..... that might caused the problem. I used an 0.3 setup (900kb) and a full online installation
Title: Re: another problem running uqm Post by: FalconMWC on May 06, 2004, 03:08:30 am Yeah, make SURE to uninstall 0.1 before 0.3. I made the same mistake and it will fix the bug that you are having. (It did for me)
