Title: finished game on OSX? Post by: James Pichora on May 12, 2004, 12:09:16 am Has anyone successfully finished the game on OSX? I'm thinking of hosting a starcon2 retreat and I don't want any surprises!
Thanks Title: Re: finished game on OSX? Post by: Nic on May 12, 2004, 12:39:44 am I have -- the only thing that bears mention is that the 0.3 version is missing an intro and an ending, so when you win, it's not what one would call "satisfying". The 0.4 release promises to have a fully-functional intro/ending, but there is no ETA on that release as of yet.
Another side point, if any of the OSX machines are still running 10.1.x, the 0.3 release will not work; you should get the 0.32 "unofficial release" and launcher from here: http://www.submedia.net/uqm/ ...on second thought, you should get the "unofficial release" and launcher anyway. Lots of good stuff in there over the 0.3 release. :) |
