Even though the picture may be nice, it won't be interesting for people to see over and over again. You've already got an avatar from which people can recognise you instantaneously. And that's said by the guy with the huge LCD monitor, not some ages-old screen that just fits UQM with no magnification. Avatars are fine because they're shunted off to the side. But adding height would be bad.
