Title: Newbie ask hints... Post by: mkananoja on June 25, 2004, 02:35:35 am okay... as you probaly see (and i quess it's not hard) im totaly newbie at here, but lets get to the point.
i have following problems... 1. How i can repair utwig's ultron, i posses all required 3 items for that, i do not have broken ultron. (yes, i have visited in their homeworld) 2. where i can find creature what admiral ZEX of VUX so badly wants? (yes, tradash told where it posibly is, no use for me) 3. how i can get record plates (or dataplates whatsoever) of Precusror ship? (i know it's something to do with black spathi ships) 4. is there some way to boost-up Chenjecu's and Mmrhnm forming together? and finaly but not least... 5. how i can obtain utwig's Precursor planet motifying-device (bomb) (i know where it is... i just can't land there to take it) Title: Re: Newbie ask hints... Post by: FalconMWC on June 25, 2004, 03:38:58 am All of these can (except maybe 1 and 3) be answered by running a forum search in the past week it seems.
Anyway, for 1, go into your items list and make sure you have all the items. Then select the item and press enter. Do this for all the parts to the ultron. 3. The black spathi can not be found in the game and neither can the data plates (At least I don't think so). Title: Re: Newbie ask hints... (yes, i have visited in their homeworld) you need to talk to the supox(meet them at librae system) to get the broken one then just click the items and the ultron will be fixed. 2. where i can find creature what admiral ZEX of VUX so badly wants? (yes, tradash told where it posibly is, no use for me) the thradash location(delta lyncis) is correct, if you couldnt find it, try again 3. how i can get record plates (or dataplates whatsoever) of Precusror ship? (i know it's something to do with black spathi ships) there is no such a thing in this game, black spathis were a hoax 4. is there some way to boost-up Chenjecu's and Mmrhnm forming together? you need to do the mycon-syreen quest, to start it, learn about the deep children from the melanorme, tell that to the syreen, find a deep child egg to prove it(several worlds wtihin mycon territory, explore a bit) and the rest will follow. and finaly but not least... 5. how i can obtain utwig's Precursor planet motifying-device (bomb) (i know where it is... i just can't land there to take it) continue the quest in your first question and the answer will come by itself a lot of spoilers though i tried not to ruin too much, answer is in bold quote. 2. Why is it of no use for you? They tell the truth. And you get given a hint from Zex about what the constellation looks like. Look at a real map, like the one that accompanied the original SC2 (http://www.classicgaming.com/starcontrol/sc2/images/sc2_color_map.jpg). 3. They don't exist. 4. Yes. 5. Do yourself a favor and make sure you have the biological shield upgrade for your lander, the speed and blaster upgrades are also quite handy.
