Title: Adding another ship to melee Post by: AusME on August 08, 2004, 12:14:06 pm Has anyone considerd making a sc2 melee where two allied ships combat two other ships simultaniously? 2 on 2 melee where the computer player controls one ship and the other is human controlled. The human player can order the computer player to attack, withdrawl and so forth. I guess human player would also need to set up the target for the special abilitys of its own ship.
I think this would change ship to ship tactics considerably. ;D Title: Re: Adding another ship to melee Post by: Sander Scamper on August 08, 2004, 01:07:05 pm Sure, tell us all when your done. =p
That would be an astronomical pain in the ass to program, im guessing. Title: Re: Adding another ship to melee Post by: 0xDEC0DE on August 08, 2004, 01:13:32 pm Yes, they have, and it's available here (http://timewarp.sf.net/).

Also, I believe he is talking about UQM endorsed code. Title: Re: Adding another ship to melee Post by: Yurand on August 11, 2004, 05:02:56 am For a long time 8)
You can add as many players to melee as you want, set same team to several computer players and enjoy. I find it is very interesiting to fight against several computer that ally against you. ps Just don't forget about '=' '-' keys ;) Title: Re: Adding another ship to melee Post by: Sander Scamper on August 12, 2004, 08:30:37 am Weird, I was under the impression that TW wasn't that user friendly to include in game tactical commands..?
