Title: help! cant detect addons with loader or console! Post by: judas on August 13, 2004, 08:45:27 pm hi guys,
the trouble im having is with the loader, it doesnt seem to detect the addons (anymore) ive tried reinstalling it and everything. >:( theres nothing wrong with the addons or where their located. (in content\packages\addons\uqmremix) everything else works fine, but when i tried to do it through console command it comes up with an error saying "FATAL ERROR: content not available, running from wrong directory?" i have a hunch that the error is comming from me just not knowing how to use dos commands. but i still cant get the freaking addons to work through the 1.1 loader either. regards. ??? i remember coppying ur-quan masters and putting it into a zip file (i was going to experiment) and when i did skrew the original up, deleted it and unziped my back up and put the addons back in, they didnt pick up in the loader. >:( maybe if you have no more ideas you could give me greater insight on how you use the command prompt to do things. No extra or missing files? And what directory did you install UQM in? Note that the content .zip files should stay zipped.

i went back to the loader 1 last time to see (on the off chance) if it had decided to work yet before i reinstalled uqm and waddiya know! it's decided to appear! :o and i hadnt even done anything. >:( >:( peice of shit... |
