Title: What's that? Post by: NECRO-99 on August 30, 2004, 09:30:47 am A shape breaks the outline of the sky. It fireballs, as would be expected of anything entering the atmosphere. The fireball comes closer and closer, hurtling towards the surface. Suddenly you realize; the fire looks odd. Instead of burning bright red, a blueish-purple flame is surrounding what you can now make out as a badly damaged ship. As it comes screaming towards the surface, you barely manage to seek shelter from the incoming wreck. With a resounding explosion, the ship impacts, making a crater and sliding about a hundred yards. The fire dies out, leaving what looks like an old, beat up Guardian wedged in about halfway in the ground. The docking port opens, and through a bent Neosteel frame and frayed, sparking wires, a familar face, followed by 19 identical faces, step out.
Hello everyone. Been awhile. Title: Re: What's that? Post by: Shiver on August 30, 2004, 09:50:55 am *NECRO-99 looks around and to his dismay realizes he has just landed on Gamma Vulpeculae I*
Hello, Androsynth *cow*! Orz are just getting hungry. I am so much the *happiest* I could *burst into several*! Title: Re: What's that? Post by: NECRO-99 on August 30, 2004, 10:21:20 am What th--
Oh...crap. Gentlemen, is the prototype Directional IDF device still working? Good. Set it up. Fast. Aim it for coordinates 160, 140. I don't care what Z coordinate, anything within this dimention will do! The clones quickly set up the DIDF device in the ship. Aiming at the given coordinates, the clones activate the device. Crackling black energy begins to play across the beleaguered ship. The orz, certain of the purpose but uncertain of the method of the device attempt to find a way to shut it down, hoping to extinguish the last remaining Androsynth. Just as a vital spot is uncovered, the black energy engulfs the Guardian in a sheath of chrono-spatial distortion and sends the vessel near-instantaneously to... "Nothing new to report on the sensors, Commander Hayes." sighs Ensign Thompson. Nothing had happened of any interest in this sector since the captain had gone on his last run for the Sa-Matra and the Chmmr went on their cleanup run. Suddenly the sensors go berserk. "C-Commander?" Thompson stutters, "W-What's happening?" Before Hayes can respond, a large spatial rift appears, spiraling outward. From it spills a damaged ship and about a metric ton of dirt. The base quickly tractors the beaten Guardian in. The crew exits the ship, looking quite proud of themselves for some reason. One of them speaks. That was -too- close, gentlemen. I wonder if the bar is still open here? Drinks are on me. Title: Re: What's that? Post by: FalconMWC on August 30, 2004, 07:11:39 pm Wow, I thought that you were long gone Necro. VERY nice to have you around again.....
Title: Re: What's that? Post by: Lukipela on August 30, 2004, 08:03:49 pm The Shofixti are less than thrilled to see the dishonorable androsynth after their dismal behaviour during the last conflict. Our territory is, as always, off limits to you diseaseridden vermin!
... I'm glad to see you though ;) Title: Re: What's that? Post by: NECRO-99 on August 31, 2004, 07:35:09 am I must say to the Shofixiti that I have had absolutely no contact with my people since I left on my mission. I have no knowledge of any conflict, nor of my peoples' actions. My mission was a scientific one, and...well, the DIDF device seems to be working well within acceptable parameters. Chock one up for discovery!

Title: Re: What's that? Post by: Culture20 on September 03, 2004, 04:57:55 am Hmm, I thought your culture was supplanted by the much more succesfull Orz culture. Orz must not be as superior as I thought. Sniveling, weak, mulidimensional entity. ::)
Title: Re: What's that? Post by: NECRO-99 on September 03, 2004, 09:10:30 pm Glad to know I'm leaving a big, gaping scar in the history of the universe ;D
"And the Orz completely annigi...annihin...completely wiped out the Androsy- wha? D'oh! RE-WRITE!" |
