Just a few questions if someone could spare the time... 1: How do i upgrade the Lander craft? Its totally flimsy 2: Whats the point in boosting the precurser with guns etc, when the other ships do all the fighting? 3: Were do I find and how do I use hyper drive? Thankyou very much!! 1. find the Melnrome in a supergiant system, trade em bio or rainbow world locations for creds and buy all the upgrades you can from them 2. when u get all the melnrome upgrades you'll understand why you want guns on the precusor ship (can anyone say triple hellbore tracking attack :) ) 3. You precusor sip is hyperdrive ready u just need to fill er up with fuel and fly out of the system which will take u into hyperspace Title: Re: How the hell?! BTW - The hyperspace drive you might be talking about may not be hyperspace at all. There is this thing called a Quasi-space drive. It allows you to go to Quasi-Space anytime and you can see amazing things there. (Frungy games, what Orz really *look* like, the Black Spathi Squadron (non cowardly spathi), The Androsyth, etc.) [/preying on new people...] Actually - All Quasi-space allows you to do is go across the map REALLY fast costing only tn in fuel. You just have to pick your shots until you can get upgrades to handle those environments.
2. You can have any ship in your fleet including the precursor ship fight. Depends on what "style" you're going for. But what's the point of putting things on the precursor ship? Let's just say after what the Melnorme can sell you, it'll be fun. I'll also hint by saying I call my final precursor ship setup "Death Star". Let's just say it earns the name ;D 3.
