Various folks have been supposing that supernatural-seeming events were caused by aliens for a long time; in SC, this particular matchup is canon.

Does anyone actually know about this one way or the other? I've Googled and read through encyclopedias and found no reference, and "Arilou La'leelay" sounds like no Celtic language I've ever heard, though I could be wrong. It's *similar* to "Tuatha de Danaan" -- the cadence is parallel, and such -- and I referenced that in the Ultronomicon article on the Arilou I wrote. But given that "Arilou" is a word that originally comes from SC1, and TFB were pretty open about slapping together race names and bios kind of haphazardly for that game ("Ilwrath" = "Stephen McIlwraith", "Melnorme" = "Mel Torme", and so on) I kind of doubt that "Arilou La'leelay" has any real-world significance. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, because it would be really cool if it *were* a real-life reference. Title: Re: Arilou Lalee'lay? It is not taken from any Celtic language, be it alive (Welsh, Breton, Irish, Scots Gaelic, Manx, Cornish) or dead (Gaulish, Celtiberian, Lepontic). Trust me on that (I am a teacher at my university's Celtic studies department).
