Title: Chnage Save Game location
Post by: eschoeller on April 18, 2005, 06:13:18 am
Is it possible to change the location where user data and saved games are stored?

Thanks

If you're using a cvs snapshot from december 2004 or later, you can specify the config dir (the dir for user data) with the command line parameter --configdir. As the saved game location is inside that dir by default, that will also change the saved game location.
A temporary hack from the same date also allows you to use environment variables UQM_CONFIG_DIR, UQM_SAVE_DIR, and UQM_MELEE_DIR, but this may be changed in the future.

OK, i am using v0.3, so this --configdir option will not work
how does one go about getting the cvs build?

You can download precompiled CVS 'snapshot' builds here:
