Well I got the Ilwrath to slaughter the Thraddash, but then I go to the homeworld of the Ilwrath in Alpha Tauri and all there cities are destroyed. Plus when I go to the Thraddash homeworld in Delta Draconis its destroyed too. What the hell happened to both of them. On top of all this, even though the Ilwrath are dead, I can contact them with Umgah Caster on Alpha Tauri!

well my good sir, you have found a glitch...

when you sent the ilwrath to attack the thraddash, they basically conducted genocide on eachother.
which means both the races are dead.

and contacting them via 'castor after that event must be a glitch.

But how would the Ilwrath die? I didn't see the thraddash go to their homeworld. Or did the Ilwrath just commit mass suicide by blowing themselves up with atomic bombs?

i guess they ALL went for the thraddash, if it were not the case they would've survived

During the attack i went to there homeworld and they were still there.  Also even if they did attack, there would be atleast one survivor of the races. I mean come on, waht happened to the last Thraddash/Ilwrath survivor? When they were going home did they hit an asteriod and die? heh....

well not much i can say other than...

it's just a game, there are gonna be some holes and some things that arent logical.

I think the Umgah had another caster and told the Ilwrath to rip all of there appendiges off as a sacrifice to Dogar and Kazon. Because really, who else could it be. There evil blobbies who drop planetiods into peoples oceans. The umgah were doing brain experiments on that Dynarri so they could play prank on Spathi to attack the Vux

I think enough of them died off that they don't have a sphere of influence, just enough that they probably have a few ships sputtering through space trying to get home maybe.... I dunno

The Kohr Ah probably visited them early  ;D

A race which prides itself on it's hunting, worship evil, and is ultraviolent loses a major space war with a race described by them as 'pathetic'.

Mass suicide was the only way to save face.

Either that or the Thraddash nuked the Ilwrath to save themselves, but ended up nuking themselves back into the stone age with a 9000 mega ton nuclear bomb.

Or they could have nuked *gasp* each other. Who knows? Who cares? Why don't you go hang out at Organon for a while and see what happens?

What happens at Oreganon?

Organon was the second-best world the Ur-Quan had found for the Syreen. That is where the ambush of the Mycon occurs; but if you sit around there, nothing happens.
