Also next time you play this, use the Quasi space portal, it saves so much game time. You can't do anything to stop them, but once they start killing people, go talk to a kzer-Za ur quan, its intresting what they say, also if you want to see the alternate loser ending, wait for them to kill everyone then they will go to the sol system.

The broadcast loser ending comes from a kohr-ah and it is this:

But I think every option listed here leads to total cleansing of 'known space' and therefore starbase & Earth destruction.... Title: Re: HELP!!! Although the Kohr-Ah never get the chance to blow up the Starbase if you blow it up by activating the Bomb while you're floating next to it....
It's not an alternate ending as such, but the storyline of the game definitely feels different if the Kohr-Ah have already annihilated six or so civilized species and you only manage to save the rest by the skin of their teeth. *I* consider a game where you let the poor helpless Zoq-Fot-Pik get slaughtered to have a different ending from one where you play perfectly and get the Sa-Matra well within the time limit. It's certainly different for the Zoq-Fot-Pik. |
