In case you're wondering, Katana will be equally hard to get to talk. However,like his brother, eventually he will talk if you're patient enough with him.. this might become a spoiler, especially if you talk to Katana or his brother, Tanaka the way our friends talk to each other. Observe several things: The Ur-Quan never lie. To lie is a weakness, and Ur-Quan are not weak! The Ur-Quan Kzer-Za are always polite! They imprison your people to protect you from the dangers the universe has in petto. As additional benefit they protect themselves from becoming enslaved again. They feel sorry that they have to enslave you to get their idea of a safe universe. But they want you to think about the situation and they believe that one day you will thank them for the safety they gave you. Being unpolite will not help them in their task of making you love them as your master. They want to appear as honest and beneficial masters, not some tyrant. Maybe you can work out a strategy on these observations. Otherwise, in-game you will find a lot more hints and other observations can be made.
