Title: The Mark 2 Starship Post by: heatho on November 06, 2005, 01:58:37 am I revisited and finished SC2 recently and I was wondering, after having my memory refreshed by the ending, whether anyone plans to do some kind of expansion or unofficial sequel to SC2 where you captain the Mark 2 starship. Has the potential for this occured to anyone, are there any project plans for this? It struck me as a good idea, perhaps expanding on the assets of the Ur-Quan Masters code.

I mean the ending of SC2 set up what should of been a sequel, perfectly. Only to have one of the greatest assets, the adventuring/rpg gameplay taken.

Most here find it a nice game (storyline wise), but it never happened. So it is not canon in the SC universe. Most of us would like SC3 to be undone, at least moved out of the SC universe. Myself, i liked SC3, although some mysteries should have stayed unsolved. (Who wants to know what an Ortog is and/or was?) (I liked the idea where the commercial SC-III was only a dream sequence... I liked bits about the game (Daktaklakpak) but my version was too buggy to be playable, and not interesting enough to DL the patch.) thunderstorm, must get off internet because I live up on a hill & don't want the 'puter zapped through the phone line or anything... but I want to tell y'all about the Mark II |
