Title: can i still finish this game or am i totally screwed? Post by: Tazin on December 15, 2005, 11:36:34 pm i didn't get the sun device while the Mycon where pursuing the syreen trap. frankly, i never even heard of it in the game, i found out about it here on the forums. is there a way to get it now that the mycons are back or am i screwed?
also. . . i gave the maidens to captain katana and he took off with them . . . when or where do i get some shofixty fighters? i can't find the ilwrath homeworld, but whenever i try to use the caster on them they tell me to talk to the leaders at "homeworld". what do i do? emilio Title: Re: can i still finish this game or am i totally screwed? Wait long enough and something will happen that should allow you to get the sun device. Note - be very fast!
b) Just wait. Even the Shofixti can't raise an army in a day; it takes them a couple of months. c) The Ilwrath are unique in that their fleet bubble isn't on their homeworld. Post by: Shiver on December 16, 2005, 02:58:34 am I'm not positive about this, but the Mycon "special place" may still be under-guarded after their broken fleet returns. It's worth a check. If not, let a couple years slip by and let The Reaper do his work on the silly mushroom men.

Dinkleberg on December 16, 2005, 04:41:07 am Ilwrath live about the west side of the Starmap, slightly above the pink circle in the map, and I don't know about the sun device, didn't even know the mycon would even return at all... The Kohr-Ah killed those fungi for me... :), and you're not suppose to enter just in the pink circle in the starmap if u wanna use the caster to communicate, you have to enter the home star system itself.

The moment the Mycons start for the trap, their defense at one of their worlds is dramtically decreased and will NEVER return to full strength. You know what you ask of Katana? How many sleepless nights he will have? How many kama-sutras he must excercise to bring you and your people a few hairy dog-like beings? You want to kill him, right? And those kids need to be raised as well! Don't expect miracles. Rome wasn't built in a day!
