Title: Quick Question about command lines...
Post by: JHGuitarFreak on January 21, 2006, 12:59:36 pm
What are the commandlines for abx2raw and aif2raw?

i've been extracting 3DO games to my computer and one game caught my ear... DOOM.
i never noticed that they revamped the Hangar 1 music and i want to get a raw version.

Any help would be appreciated

abx2raw takes the ABX source filename and the destination raw file as arguments (it even tells you this if you run it without arguments!). You may want to use the abx2wav script instead, though, or look at it for usage examples.

The same applies to aif2raw, just substitute aif for abx throughout.

Thanks Novus, so far all i can get it to do is make an empty output file :( (empty as in 0kb)

i guess that game uses neither abx or aif. (they were just files named music1, music2, so on and so forth without any filename extensions)

now i'll go and find some games that do and test it out. ;D
