Post by: ^Nytro^ on February 22, 2006, 04:50:53 pm I assume this may have been thought of before, but just to arrange opinions. personally I think this can be a very good place to exchange any UQM chit-chat including real-time talks about the whole Remaking theme that surrounds this community!
probably the only possibility is that it would be a non-official chat that is not associated specifically with The Ur Quan Masters- but with all related stuff, just like this forum. You're also welcome to express your preference on type of chat you think would be most suitable. Title: Re: So what about a UQM Chat? I'm aware that those forsaken SC channels exist, although their existance doesn't mean anything. they're worthless if no one cares about them. if we create a chat room of our own, start over, WE, meaning members of the forum, could use it and it could form an online-instant aid to the Forum. It's active whenever development discussion is taking place (highly technical conversations which I rarely understand) but there are also easier-to-follow conversations about random stuff, such as arne's projects or who has the nerdiest t-shirt.
You could start a @sc2 channel on freenode if you want a "fan-oriented" IRC channel that is for the UQM community... but It probably would be no more active than #sc2. |
