is there a .uqm directory in your home directory? ARe you trying to launch the program as a regular user or as root? Does this happen during install or when you try to run UQM? During installation in the default dir, the *.uqm files under /usr/local/games/share/uqm/content/packages were automatically renamed to *.uqm.bin Basically take out the .bin extension and you're good to go. .uqm, .zip, .uqm.zip, .uqm.bin etc. should all be acceptable, IMO. Seems to be causing too many unnecessary headaches for such an easily fixable problem. |
