Title: SC3 and thrift stores
Post by: OUND on July 29, 2006, 03:03:04 am
I was at my local thrift store, sifting through the PC games when I happened upon a copy of Star Control 3. I promptly ran as far as possible away from said thrift store upon viewing said game's jewel case. My question is, am I safe from it three miles away from the store, or do I need to go farther?  :'(

::) Sigh, when will people learn to use the search function of this forum? This is not rocketscience! The prefered distance is 4.8km or more, any closer and you must wear a tinfoil hat, pink flare pants and sing "Kum ba yah, my Lord, Kum ba yah" to be safe.

Hahaha.  You should be fine...  As long as the jewel case doesn't grow legs (or wings), you'll be okay...

Damn them!!! Have you seen what they did to the Syreen, Arilou, basically all of them?!  Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!

Did you by any chance, see the price sticker?

Thats too expensive if you ask me 'cause he'll be the one that the game will be haunting. Meh, there is a free version of it (without the speech) on the net, but what they did too Syreen is simply unforgivable.

"Free" as in pirated, of course. I wish there were some legal and practical way to acquire old software, but most of the time, there isn't.

Wow, $-10!  They must really want to get rid of that game.
