Title: Katana and Tanaka Post by: Rompcat on October 31, 2006, 11:40:11 am Okay, so I killed Tanaka. I was told by the Melnorme that his sibling Katana was around, but Delta Gorno's a ghost town. Where is/How long do I have to wait for Katana? Or will he find me?

Incidentally, when you do get them back for Tanaka, and he goes about doing his, ahem, duty...notice that he never mentions his brother. What, he can't send a few nubiles his way? "Oh, hey Katana...'huff' 'wheeze'...oh nothing, just..'hunngg' 'aggh'...chillin at Delta Gorno, like 'eeeeeiiiiiiyyyyyyyyyyy!!'..um, always. When you bring him the maidens, he takes off and leaves Delta Gorno for some unknown love-shack. The dashing captain, having single-handedly saved a race, returns to his own pressing business. So when Katana arrives, Delta Gorno is a once again a deserted barren dead system. He wont find out about his brother and all those maidens until Shofixti return in full force to reclaim their old star systems. If he survives that long, one assumes that he'll be thrilled that he isn't the last of his kind, rather than disappointed that he missed out on a love fest.
So there is no malice intended, only unlucky circumstances. If there is any blame to assign, it lays solely with the Melnorme, who know Katana is alive, but can't be arsed to let Tanaka know this. Edited to comment that FireFox 2's spellcheck must be the best thing since sliced bread. Besides, they probably don't want to get drawn into a fight with the scout ship.
