Title: A question... Post by: swbf on November 09, 2006, 12:03:43 am When you encounter a new race, and pick the option of attacking them and demanding they surrender, is there anyway to carry out with it, like conquer their homeworld or something? And the whole scenario of Admiral ZEX, is taking the shofixti madiens by force an option?
Title: Re: A question... Post by: Razorback on November 09, 2006, 12:28:26 am You can't take over a homeworld-class planet. You know you've found one when you get an infinite amount of defending ships around the planet on the encounter screen. It's just what it looks like, endless reinforcements. As for taking the Shofixti maidens by force, I've never tried it but I bet the game script wouldn't let you do that. You're welcome to go for it and fill us in on the outcome. :)
There is one race you beat into submission, and that's the Thraddash. It dosen't count kills made at their homeworld though, because they think you're too stupid for trying there. The Thraddish will submit, if you kill enough of their ships. But, no, generally, waging war on a species is pointless. Title: Re: A question... I honestly have no idea what you're trying to say here. Title: Re: A question... Post by: Mugz the Sane on November 13, 2006, 07:24:15 am I think the Uguma are a species you encounter on a hidden sidequest or something. I'm having visions here of a neo-African crowd with vague Australian overtones...
