Title: How the network melee works? Post by: jerska on December 28, 2006, 09:22:15 am A question for all of you.
How the new network supermelee thing works, I've been waiting HOURS for that "wait for incoming connection". Does it mean that nobody plays there or does my internet connection suck? :( Title: Re: How the network melee works? Post by: Novus on December 28, 2006, 10:21:19 am Most probably it means that nobody knows you exist and want to play UQM. At this stage UQM does not provide any mechanism for players to find each other; one player must specify the IP address of the other to connect.
It may also mean that your firewall is blocking UQM. See the netplay howto (http://uqm.stack.nl/wiki/Netplay_howto) for details. Title: Re: How the network melee works? Yes, either that or he enters your IP address and you wait for him to connect to you.Title: Re: How the network melee works? Any one of these: you or he enters the IP address or hostname of the other.Title: Re: How the network melee works? Post by: jerska on December 30, 2006, 11:45:47 pm Thanks, dude! Your the best! xD
