Title: Who else knows how to spell Mmrnmhrm? Post by: chenjesummrnmhrm on August 10, 2007, 06:31:53 am It feels like a silly thing to say, but one of my littler pet peeves is when people spell Mmrnmhrm wrong. (Especially on this forum.)

Why? Because as a native speaker of a Romance language, it's easy for me to just add "uh" sounds between the consonants in "Mmrnmhrm". That is, "M-uh-rn m-uh-h-uh-rm". "swooping robot sound", a sort of R2-D2. Thus it's more likely that it was intended to be pronounced like this.
Or maybe the correct pronunciation is in a single syllable. Admittedly, it's impossible for a human to pronounce it like that - which gives us a good excuse for having different races pronounce it differently: they have to separate the word into syllables to be able to pronounce it.
