Title: TFB Awesome Website Redesign Post by: Anthony on August 25, 2007, 06:51:05 pm I was looking at toysforbob.com yesterday, and I was surprised by their new website design: It's awesome! They updated their list of games that they made, including Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam, and some nice things about Star Control of course:
Quote from: Star Control The legendary classic that started it all. We're not sure what 'it all' is but whatever it is, it has 'it' Quote from: Star Control II The second game in the series. You know you still want another. Check it out! There's no new news, but it's still a wicked website layout. Flash is still required. Title: Re: TFB Awesome Website Redesign Post by: meep-eep on August 25, 2007, 10:04:47 pm It does look more professional. But it's extremely slow here. And there are still a few bugs here and there.
Title: Re: TFB Awesome Website Redesign Post by: Resh Aleph on August 25, 2007, 10:45:33 pm It's pretty much unusable with my 66 MT/s FSB. :( Good thing I'm getting a new PC soon.
Oh, and the news text is uncopiable! How am I supposed to quote Alex Ness now? :'( Title: Re: TFB Awesome Website Redesign Post by: meep-eep on August 25, 2007, 11:04:11 pm Oh, and the news text is uncopiable! (EP doesn't have Flash installed, which is a good thing overall...)
Meep-Eep's link works fine though, and it's always fun reading TFB's news messages. ^_^ Title: Re: TFB Awesome Website Redesign Post by: Neonlare on August 26, 2007, 06:48:37 pm Back from Crete, wasn't a very good holiday, but oh well.
Dayaaamn, the new site layout looks nifty :p. Good to hear that Activision are interested in the designs of a new SC game, and that they wouldn't mind an XBOX 360 live remake of it :D. Anyhow, looking forward to hearing what this new game is. Time will tells... Title: Re: TFB Awesome Website Redesign Post by: Lukipela on August 27, 2007, 08:23:23 pm Keep scrolling past the first SC game for an easter egg.
Title: Re: TFB Awesome Website Redesign Post by: Elerium on August 29, 2007, 04:40:11 pm Back from Crete, wasn't a very good holiday, but oh well. Crete is a good place for a holiday, you just gotta find the right location :P Bali is excellent tbh, don't go to Georgioupolis. Title: Re: TFB Awesome Website Redesign Post by: Anthony on August 29, 2007, 09:16:15 pm Keep scrolling past the first SC game for an easter egg. Woo hoo! The Spathi are back! :D Title: Re: TFB Awesome Website Redesign Post by: Novus on August 30, 2007, 09:53:26 pm Keep scrolling past the first SC game for an easter egg. Woo hoo! The Spathi are back! :D Dear Hunams, How are you? We are fine, except for the fact that you've exposed our hiding place to all the hideous monsters that lurk in the dark, hidden nooks of this planet. The security staff here assures us that the monsters can't touch us even if they can see us, but our experience with such assertions tells us to relocate to another location, preferably one easily barricaded against Spathi-eating monsters. Unfortunately, our previous attempt, involving an apparently unused underground facility conveniently hidden under one of your nests, resulted in a brief but distressing encounter with a rampaging beast aptly referred to, by the inhabitants of the nest under which we were residing, as an "Animal Officer". We would really appreciate it if you in the future: a) Keep your wild animals away from us, regardless of their rank. b) Refrain from passing around information about our whereabouts to any evil that may be listening. Your friends, The Spathi of TFB Title: Re: TFB Awesome Website Redesign Post by: AngusThermopyle on September 04, 2007, 04:20:53 pm I just got this note in the mail: Dear Hunams, How are you?
