Title: Low poly 3D models? Post by: ptx on December 06, 2007, 05:36:22 am Hi All.
Have any of the ships been recreated using low polygon models? If so, is there a central repository? All the models on http://starcontrol.classicgaming.gamespy.com/sc3d/ seem to be huge... Thanks, -ptx Title: Re: Low poly 3D models? Post by: ptx on December 06, 2007, 09:30:51 pm I'd like to locate or put together a publicly accessible repository (on a service like sourceforge or a wiki).
In case such thing doesn't exist - any thoughts of what service to use for the repository:
Looks like Ultronomicon MediaWiki has been (intentionally?) configured not to accept non-image uploads... I believe a TWiki would work quite well for this, but where to host it... hmm. Post by: meep-eep on December 06, 2007, 10:03:04 pm The Ultronomicon (http://http//uqm.stack.nl/wiki/) is a good place to collect references to such materials.
The actual materials could be housed there too, as long as the copyright allows it. Title: Re: Low poly 3D models? Post by: ptx on December 06, 2007, 10:09:41 pm Right, I think that would be the perfect place for it. Who is in charge of that wiki server? Looks like Ultronomicon MediaWiki has been (intentionally?) configured not to accept non-image uploads...

EDIT: I may well be, I think I found the page. |
