Title: Need ship details for awesome fanart

Im planning to make  UQM ships in 3D   (just for fun, not game)  as fanart :)
however, every ship is made from above so i will have no details about sides and fronts

any help would be awesome

Some other possible sources of information on the looks of the ships:
  • The SC1 ship overlays in the "Starship Databank"
  • The SC1 manual (pictures and descriptions)
  • The SC2 manual (pictures and descriptions)
  • The SC2 resource guide (hints book)
  • The SC1 and SC2 box art (probably not much usable there)
  • The SC2 in-game dialogs
  • The SC2 3DO ship spin animations
  • The SC2 3DO intro and victory animations

A lot of this can be found on the Pages of Now and Forever (http://www.star-control.com/).

Amiga_Nut may have some more; he's been on a quest to locate every last bit of canon information regarding the looks of the ships.

And if nothing else, incomplete information is an opportunity to use your own immagination.
