Title: Speech is way too fast... Post by: Yoav on January 10, 2003, 10:14:00 pm I just wanted too tell you that I scanned all the forums, faqs and manaul before publishing yet another help me thread, but didn't find anything that can help me.
Anyway, I've got a problem with the speech in the game: it's too fast. Way too fast. So fast you can't understand anything. How can I fix it? The sound effects and the music is great. I've got a Windows XP, Pentium 4, Aureal Vortex 2 sound blaster, 128 RDRam, Directx 9.0. Please help me!!! Title: Re: Speech is way too fast... Post by: Mika on January 10, 2003, 10:18:08 pm This is a bug in Aureal drivers for which we cannot do anything; workaround is to disable hardware acceleration in Control Panel / Sounds and Multimedia / Audio / Sound Playback / Advanced / Performance (or might be something other, that was for win2k and my soundcard).
