The Star Control one is strangely... amusing. If you were inclined to do a whole series, I would certainly read them.

I'll try, but I don't know if I can them keep as "amusing" as the first.

I plan on having regular characters eventually. Maybe an Orz and an Umgah. Suggestions are welcome.

I can't make any promises on that frontier, but i'll try my best to make them seem like less of a Photoshop nightmare than they already are.

Ok, here is the next one. This time I tried a bit harder on the graphics, but not by much. I think the joke could use some work though......

thats a dumb assumption. You said that you liked your rightist comic even if you didn't agree with it. Most political cartoons aren't funny, unless something is just completely making a mockery out of it from all sides, like the onion does.

That's a pretty good one. The Onion videos are a lot funnier and more topical than the written articles, in my opinion.

Based on what? Hmm. I have reviewed Sassy's entire posting history (it's not long). So, unless you have had private contact, the answer to my question is: nothing. Given Sassy's further comments, I feel justified in concluding that you don't have access to Sassy's political views.

So here's a tip: Making wild claims about people without backing them up makes you not just appear to be a jackass.

Their lack of appreciation for what is, at a minimum, a well drawn picture. I feel it deserves more credit than it was given. Subjective? Absolutely. The whole discussion was about matters of taste, so it really isn't anything groundbreaking. Most people in here seemed to understand that.

Yeah, I know we've talked this to death, but I think it just happens that conservative media hardly ever makes anything funny or entertaining. I don't really consider myself a democrat, but there's just no getting around how funny the onion is, and how funny the daily show (or others like it) can be.  And what is supposed conservative entertainment supposed to be anyway? Rush Limbaugh? All I was saying is that it's unfair to say that someone who likes that type of entertainment is obviously a democrat. I know people that are conservative that like john stewart.

The text in the third panel is totally unnecessary.

This brings to mind a whole house filled with Shiver-y NetMelee players in different sizes, all battle-toady. That image is funnier than the comic to me.

It's true, I'm actually a frogman stuck in a lab deep within the bowels of the Pentagon. They're trying to figure out how to give soldiers in Iraq extra lives and continues.

There are certainly plenty of rats and pigs to fight there.  ;)
