Title: Post-StarCon2 Roleplay Post by: alanahikarichan on March 20, 2008, 03:54:50 pm I ask because I'm setting one up on Livejournal, and if anyone here was interested in joining (http://community.livejournal.com/frungylovers/30184.html) (or dropping by the suggestion box (http://community.livejournal.com/free_stars_ooc/547.html) and making comments and suggestions), I wouldn't mind more people at all. :3 After all, why should the Livejournal part of the fandom get all the fun?
Title: Re: Post-StarCon2 Roleplay Post by: Shiver on March 20, 2008, 06:37:25 pm There's a livejournal SC2 fan community? Why can't we all stay in the same place?
Title: Re: Post-StarCon2 Roleplay Post by: alanahikarichan on March 20, 2008, 08:13:56 pm Hahaha, the livejournal fandom is a slightly different demographic than the forum fandom, actually. XD More girls, and more fanwork-oriented in general.
it would be nice if there was one place for all of us, though... You should check out this (http://starcontrol.classicgaming.gamespy.com/forum/index.php?board=5.0) place. Its the role-playing board over at the SCDB. It's quite slow, but at the very least you migh be able to attract some new players. EDIT: Looking through the links posted, it would appear that SC consists of some very different colonies. Still, the more the merrier. And it's kind of nice to know that even if some sites go belly-up every now and then, others can take their place. Title: Re: Post-StarCon2 Roleplay Post by: Elerium on March 26, 2008, 12:14:17 pm Good god I still see that awful RP I made up there. If I could I'd delete it, because I felt it sucked, majorly.
Edit: Actually, I just deleted it now, the OOC is still up there however. Besides, on the internet, there's no terribly compelling reason not to be in two places at once, if you see what I mean. Besides, on the internet, there's no terribly compelling reason not to be in two places at once, if you see what I mean. Except that if you split a small group into too many small subdivisions, there is a risk that they all dry up. But we don't seem to be heading that way, as even the SCDB suddenly turned semi-active. Title: Re: Post-StarCon2 Roleplay Post by: alanahikarichan on March 27, 2008, 10:48:46 pm The day SC2 fandom shrivels up and dies will be a sad day indeed. Which is why I've made it my life's quest to get as many people to play it as possible. XD
Also: HI, OCTAL. O3 No reason at all not to be everywhere! <3 Title: Re: Post-StarCon2 Roleplay Post by: cloneof on May 03, 2008, 02:48:40 pm It would be cool to have an RP where one player would equal as a race on updated galactic map...
Could start working on "Ur-Quan Slave War" forum game, could be fun. |
