Always felt that conversations with Hayes, our beloved Starbase Commander, weren't satisfying and slightly depressing due to that irritating red slaveshield? Fear no more...

There are also some tiny graphical mods over here (http://mooses.nl/uqm/miscgra/), such as new main menu graphics, and a "proper" Slylandro Probe Super melee icon....

The only thing I don't like about the top one is that it looks like there's a nebula in the background.

I'm not much for application, but I do have some skillz using Photoshop and Illustrator if that helps any. However, my figure drawing is crap, so I'm pretty much limited to technology, planets, starscapes, and ships. Check out some of my fan work, or my DeviantArt (http://prowler2885.deviantart.com) profile.

If that is relevant in any way, I could probably work on some stuff, though I would need more details on how and what to do for everything.

Hell, if it's even possible to make a hi-res version of UQM, that could be an interesting project. I think I even saw a thread somewhat related to that some time ago.

Or, with a bit of re-programming, have backgrounds of chatting randomize every visit, particularly the starbase and Hayes. Although that seems a bit trivial. At least it relates to this topic. One visit, you see the Earth, another, you see the stars. Again, this may require a bit of re-programming. Unfortunately, I'm crap for programming as well.

That's odd , but the first idea i got from looking at the new initial menue graphics , is that the nebula resembles Slylandro's glowy bits ...
