Title: Nothing to say Post by: guesst on August 22, 2008, 10:46:16 pm I popped in after a long absence from this board and I see Alex has revived the sequel effort. Well that's great. Then I bop around and see check out some of the other threads. Thing is I've been gone so long I feel like a lurker now. I don't want to throw in my 2 cents into a conversation I probably won't be checking tomorrow.
Which is sad. I still love Star Control and still plan on paying homage to it in a future project that I may never get to. But now I feel like a stranger on the boards that I once checked daily. Well, if Alex succeeds maybe this place will be lively again. I could check every day but the boards are so slow it hardly seems worth the effort. Sorry, I'm being a bit depressing, I'm even getting myself down. I really love Star Control, I just am staring to feel like my time would be better spend elsewhere. You could always spend your time sewing a new mask of apropriate depression :) Cheer up! On a more practical side, I have had lost interest in couple of forums I've been on. If this is the case you might be better to just let it go for a while. I have returned to one of the forums after about a year of not participating. You might regain your UQM interest after a while also.
