Title: My Competition Game
Post by: RTyp06 on August 26, 2008, 12:17:15 am
If anyone has a bit of time to kill, check out my game submission to YoYo Games competition #3. Features original gameplay, music and grfx. Although I don't expect any accolades from the YoYo community, it was an interesting test and learning experience working under a limited time frame.

I'll try to play it, but I use linux.  I'll see if it works with wine.

EDIT: I get an error: "Failed to load the game data. File seems corrupted."
I assume it's because of my lack of Windows.  Oh, well.

Yeah all the cool kids are running OS or Linux it seems.. man I'm such a sheep. The thought of "upgrading" to Vista even gives me the shudders.

Thnx for trying.

Your game wants me to install a module in Firefox for "Yoyogames". is there any way I can avoid doing this?

Click the Download Now link at the bottom right of the page and choose Run. All files are virus scanned by Yoyo. The Firefox plugin allows instant play at Yoyo's site. Most games can be ran straight through the Download Link with no fuss.

I've installed the module, it's fine.

But, like was said, you can just download and run it.

I'll check this one out... eventually.

I didn't notice this thing.  When I have a chance to get back on a computer (I'm using a Wii right now), I'll try it.  I don't know why I didn't see this before.  Unless the module is only for firefox on windows, but I don't think that firefox plugins can be compatable for only one operating system, can they?
