Title: Not sure what it means Post by: jaychant on November 12, 2008, 09:24:02 pm Code: [glow=red,2,300] I don't get what the numbers mean. (2 and 300) Title: Re: Not sure what it means Post by: RTyp06 on November 12, 2008, 10:56:11 pm Where does this code come from? If it's a homemade function it's impossible to tell without the function code itself.

If it's a homemade function it's impossible to tell without the function code itself. It's the BBC for making glowing text. Testing 1,300 2,300 3,300 2,100 2,500 2,900 EDIT: Well the 1,2,3 seems to be intensity (thickness of glow for lack of better term). No idea about the hundreds, appears to be no difference on IE. EDIT 2: Well, about 5 seconds of googling "BBC code glow" gives me this Quote Glow [.glow=red,2,50]glow[/glow] glow The three attributes (eg red, 2, 50) in the 'glow' tag are color, strength and width respectively. Hope that helps Title: Re: Not sure what it means Post by: Cattrance on November 13, 2008, 10:33:39 am bbzzz

Unless you perform the highly technical operation known as "marking (http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/rtnlhelp/v6r0m0/index.jsp?topic=/com.ibm.lpex.doc.user/tasks/tlmarkt.htm)". Presto, you can see! On a side note, I still don't know what the width is supposed to do. It obviously does nothing in FireFox, but it doesn't seem to do anything in IE either. Nice double meaning (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Presto_(layout_engine)) there. :P Title: Re: Not sure what it means Post by: Lukipela on November 24, 2008, 10:56:39 am Or is it a double entendre?
