Does Star Control (the military wing of the United Nations' space forces) have a logo or a sign of some sort - one they would have painted on their ships?

If not, do you think it should have one? (time to get creative)

I think that they don't have any logo and that green circle on
Hayes shirt is REALLY simple kind of that, if it is a logo or sign.

Of course we can do ourselves a logo for them.

A slave of the Ur-Quan would be wearing a Star Control logo?

I wanted to make just that point also .
In addition - such a logo would be blue , as this is the Human colour in most , if not all space media and the main UN color .

The olive leaves indicate peace , so I am not sure that  the armed forces of the UN should have those as a main part of the badge .
Other than that I like the simplicity and balance of the logo .

The whole point of the first great war was to keep peace and freedom in the galaxy.  It's not like Star Control just decided to invade the Spathi.

Here's something. Much more intimidating, but not especially human.

Shiver's artistic vision gives me the impression that it could be the logo for the Syreen space patrol.

How about Earth's astronomical symbols? Either (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/e7/Earth_symbol.svg/25px-Earth_symbol.svg.png) or (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/5/54/Earth_symbol_alternate.svg/17px-Earth_symbol_alternate.svg.png), take your pick. Hmm, then again, the former looks like there's a crosshair on Earth, and the second looks like there's a giant tombstone on top of Earth... Who the hell picked those symbols?!

I love the concept, but maybe it should be a Cruiser (or something similar) instead of the Space Shuttle? After all, the Shuttle will be ancient history (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Space_Shuttle#Retirement) by the time Star Control forms.
