Title: IRC for UQM not working Post by: Neonlare on February 22, 2009, 12:19:36 am Hello, I've been trying to access the IRC for th eUQM Arena Channel, but have been unable to get thorugh. The HUD loads fine but despite all of the different IRC clients I've used I've still been unable to connect to the server. May this be due to my firewall (using ZoneAlarm) or is my name on the ban list for it? I've not visited it before but now that I am trying to it poses a large barrier within development discussion on the UQM mod that I am trying to assist with.

Make sure that outgoing TCP connections to port 6667 are allowed. This page (http://www.portforward.com/english/softwarefw/ZoneAlarmPro/ZoneAlarmProindex.htm) may help.
There's also the Web IRC client on http://irc.uqm.stack.nl/ (http://irc.uqm.stack.nl/), but it looks like it's not working right at the moment. I'll investigate later. |
