Title: Through the Fire and Flames - Guitar Hero III Post by: Tiberian on August 09, 2009, 07:41:27 pm I have been playing Guitar Hero for quite some time, but I didn't seem to get even near the level when I could complete Through the Fire and Flames on expert.
In June I decided that my mission in life will be to play that song to the end. I practiced around one hour every day and today was the Big Day. Today I was able to finish it. I am in an euphoric state right now. This is by far the greatest accomplishment of my life. And this most likely will remain the greatest accomplishment to the day I die. When I'm laying on my death bed, I will look back to this day and say to myself (out loud) "At least you did accomplish something great in your life." I've only seen that song attempted live once - the guy was pretty good, thrashed lou and breezed through the bit afterwards, then he got to TtFaF and turned into Flaily McFingerfumble, so I'm a little awed.
