Title: New pages on PNF Post by: Lukipela on October 18, 2009, 04:04:44 pm Hey guys,
I'm sure some of you might remember that PNF was relaunched a while back. I just thought I'd let you know that since then these two pages have been added Fan Music (http://star-control.com/fan/music.php) Mods (http://star-control.com/fan/mods.php) Any feedback and or information about stuff we may have missed would be appreciated. Typo in http://star-control.com/fan/mods.php: "The creators oft his mod" http://star-control.com/fan/music.php: "he can" (no capital letter at the beginning of the sentence). Title: Re: New pages on PNF Post by: Defender on October 18, 2009, 06:23:04 pm I have some fan related material I've collected over the years from this site and others. Where or how can I summit this material to PNF. Unfortunately, on some of it, I don't know who the creators are. Maybe some of you more involved with SC scene would be able to discern who it was done by.

We're still working on the new art pages, but anything and everything is appreciated. Quote Oooh.. Did Arne do all the new artwork for the PNF? Looks good. He did the new header, and I think he helped out with the basic layout structure as well. Dunno really, that's not my area of expertise. But he is credited on the About page. Title: Re: New pages on PNF Post by: Defender on October 19, 2009, 02:53:48 am It's in the mail...so to speak. ;D
Title: Re: New pages on PNF Post by: Rob on October 20, 2009, 10:57:09 pm PNF is where I discovered both boards, and in particular the project60--something, proposed by Cedric. Is there much on that around here anymore?

Quote PNF is where I discovered both boards, and in particular the project60--something, proposed by Cedric. Is there much on that around here anymore? Cedric heads that project, but he is on a prolonged honeymon of some sort. His brother edmund is registered here and might know something though. Thanks DEFIANT!Just my small contribution I wanted to share with the community. Hopefully when it it gets sorted out (It's a bit of a mess and unorganized), it can be viewed by everyone. Hey folks, When we launched the mods section a few weeks back, several people noted that many prominent clones were not included. There was a reason for this. While I had gone through different mods for UQM and SC mods for other games, I hadn't stopped to consider all the spinoff projects that are neither. There are a lot of those. Unfortunately, since they aren't mods they don't really belong on the mod page. Fortunately, we have plenty of space on the site for new pages. Unfortunately, I don't know very much about the older clones that haven't been active for years. Fortunately, several community members have come through for me and helped out with the creation of the page. Unfortunately, there may still be clones out there that I've missed. Fortunately, SC has a loyal fandom that will let me know what things I have missed. So there's a new page (http://www.star-control.com/fan/clones.php) on the site for clones and spinoffs. If you know of a project that rightfully should be on that list, contact me in the usual fashion. In addition to this, some of you may remember that there are now two SC comics around, Eth's and Tiberians. Back when we hosted Tiberians on PNF, his was the only one, so we just linked directly to it. That's not very fair though, so we've now added a comics page (http://www.star-control.com/comics.php) to the mix. It currently features only these two comics. Beyond these I only know of some loose sketches and one off comics out there that will be better suited for the art section when we get that running. But if you know of any other comics, well you know the drill. Let me know and I'll get it up here. Lukipela |
